Low Density Subdiv- Locate on both <br />isions Minor Streets sides. <br />Proposed <br />Regulations <br />Locate on both sides <br />unless physical or <br />design constraints <br />preclude sidewalk <br />placement. <br />Locate on both sides. <br />Exempted from side- <br />walk requirements. <br />In essence, the proposed amendments increase sidewalk requirements <br />along arterial and collector streets and school access routes, <br />decreases requirements along minor streets in low density <br />subdivisions, and references the to -be -adopted County sidewalk and <br />bikeway plan. <br />The County Attorney's office has verified that the proposed <br />ordinance is acceptable as to form and legal sufficiency. At its <br />regular meeting of January 14, 1988, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission recommended that the Board of County Commissioners <br />adopt the proposed subdivision ordinance amendments. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners adopt the <br />proposed sidewalk regulation to the subdivision and site plan <br />ordinances. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone wished to be heard.
