Tuesday, March 1, 1988 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />March 1, 1988, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Gary C. Wheeler, Vice Chairman; Richard <br />N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and Carolyn K. Eggert. Also present <br />were Charles P. Balczun, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph <br />Baird, OMB Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Administrator <br />Balczun led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />There were none. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or correc- <br />tions to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 26, 1988. <br />Commissioner Eggert noted that several of the numbers on <br />Page 64, beginning with Line 2, are a zero short, and should be <br />corrected to read "$325,000 - $375,000 - $325,000." Also, on <br />Page 64, Line 11, she believed the phrase "the County would not <br />take possession until January, 1991" was a bit misleading and <br />should be clarified to read "the County would not be free of the <br />leases until January 1991." <br />BOOK e 1 Ft'a 99 <br />LIAR 1988 <br />
