Bairde <br />OMB Director <br />Budget Analyst*FROM: Leila Miller <br />DESCIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Last September, the Board of County Commissioners approved <br />$82,000 for the Golf Course's Other Machinery and Equipment <br />account. Three mowers and grinding equipment were to be <br />purchased with the funds. Bob Komarinetz, Director of Golf, <br />recently reviewed this account and feels that the funds would be <br />better applied towards different equipment. He estimated the <br />cost of the substitute equipment at $75,400 less trade and <br />discounts (see attached memo). <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners <br />approve the change in lists, as it will result in a savings of at <br />least $6,600 for the County. <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners DATE: February 18, 1988 <br />FROM: <br />Bob Komarinetz <br />Director of Golf <br />SUBJECT: <br />FILE: <br />CAPITAL EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT <br />DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS <br />I have reviewed the present equipment list approved last September with <br />Golf Course Superintendent Roger Welker.
