ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted Resolution <br />88-17 approving the assessment roll for Lots 1-24 <br />Breezewood Park; Lots 1-32 Little Portion Subdv.; and <br />Lots 1-25 Sunnydale Acres Subdv.; and awarded the bid <br />to the low bidder, Tri -Sure Corporation, in the amount <br />of $99,977.50. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88-17 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN WATER <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO BREEZEWOOD <br />PARK, LITTLE PORTION, AND <br />SUNNYDALE ACRES SUBDIVISIONS, <br />PROVIDING THE TOTAL ESTIMATED <br />COST, METHOD OF PAYMENT OF <br />ASSESSMENTS, NUMBER OF ANNUAL <br />INSTALLMENTS, AND LEGAL DES- <br />CRIPTION OF AREAS SPECIFICALLY <br />SERVED. <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Utilities Department has <br />received requests from owners of property in the areas to be <br />specifically benefitted, requesting water improvements within the <br />Breezewood Park, Little Portion and Sunnydale Acres Subdivisions on <br />71st Avenue and 71st Court; and <br />WHEREAS, conceptual design work including cost estimates have <br />been completed by the Department of Utility Services and their <br />contracted engineering consultant, Masteller & Moler Associates, Inc.; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the total estimated cost of the proposed water <br />improvements is $126,080.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the lowest bid was $99,977.50 for the construction of <br />the water main from Tri -Sure Corporation; and <br />WHEREAS, the special assessment provided hereunder shall be an <br />equal proportion of 100% of the cost of the project, less adjustments <br />by the Department of Utility Services, for each given record owner of <br />property within the specific area benefitted, and on which a residence <br />is located or capable of being located, and shall become due and <br />payabletat the office of the Indian River County Department of Utility <br />Services ninety (90) days after the final determination of the special <br />assessment pursuant to Ordinance No. 81-27; and <br />MAR 15 1988 39 BOOK 71 fA [ 2O8 <br />
