Approval of Appointment of Deputy Sheriff (Part-time) <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Sheriff's appointment of Deputy Sheriff William H. <br />Roode (part-time). <br />2. Reports - Florida Inland Navigation District <br />The following reports re the Florida Inland Navigation <br />District were received and placed on file in the Office of the <br />Clerk to the Board: <br />a) Audit Report for Fiscal Year Ending Sept. 30, 1987 <br />b) 1987 Annual Financial Report of Units of Local <br />Government <br />c) Statement of Condition - Sept. 30, 1987 <br />3. Retroactive Approval of Out -of -State Travel <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously granted <br />retroactive approval for out-of-state travel for <br />Chairman and appropriate staff to attend Bond Council <br />Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, March 15-17, 1988. <br />4. Approval for Out -of -County Travel <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />out -of -county travel for Chairman and appropriate. <br />staff to attend Wetlands for Wastewater Treatment <br />Seminar in Orlando on April 14, 1988. <br />5.
