library site, the Board discussed having staff do certain things <br />to clear up the parcel. We obviously will not touch the old <br />concrete jail structure and the offices in the front, but staff <br />would like to proceed on the Board's original directions with <br />respect to fuel tanks, towers, and the two wooden frame <br />structures which are going to have to come down in any case. <br />Commissioner Bird did not feel we should proceed with <br />anything right now, because he felt the Recreation Dept. may have <br />use of those fuel tanks, etc., and because we are only talking 90 <br />days or so. <br />Commissioner Eggert felt there is a great desire on the part <br />of the City to have a workshop with the County on several <br />matters. <br />SOUTH COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT <br />The Chairman announced that immediately upon adjournment the <br />Board of County Commissioners would reconvene acting as the <br />District Board of Fire Commissioners of the South Indian River <br />County Fire District.
