He estimated there are 326 such individuals in the <br />county and felt we might as well have state funds to help them <br />adjust; he, therefore, is asking for authorization to apply for <br />the grant because the deadline is two weeks from today. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Bowman, Commissioner Bird having left the <br />meeting, the Board unanimously (4-0) authorized staff <br />Hies Bee_ <br />-cd <br />to apply for the grant described above. <br />OPPOSITION TO HOUSE AND SENATE BILLS <br />Commissioner Eggert requested that the Commission write our <br />State Legislators opposing House Bills 249 and 13 and Senate <br />Bills 204 and 205, which proposed legislation places restrictions <br />on how counties can use their monies. <br />6 3 <br />APS 121988 BOOK 72 FACE 79 <br />
