IRC Bid #430 - Fertilizer for Sandridge Golf Course <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 4121/88: <br />TO: Charles P.Balczun <br />County Administrator <br />DATE: April 21, 1988 FILE: <br />SUBJECT: AWARD OF IRC BID #430 <br />FERTILIZER FOR SANDRIDGE <br />GOLF COURSE <br />FROM: REFERENCES: <br />Gus Ambler,-C.P.M. - <br />Purchasing Department <br />1. DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />Bids were received Wednesday, April 20, 1988, at 2:00 p.m. <br />for IRC Bid 4430. <br />15 Invitations to Bid were sent out, 6 Bids were received <br />including 3 No Bids. <br />This Bid was advertised in the newspaper. <br />2. ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The low Bid meeting specifications was submitted by Wheeler <br />Fertilizer at $7272.00, for 16 tons of fertilizer in bulk <br />and $948.00 for two tons of fertilizer in bags. <br />3. RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING: , <br />Staff Recommends that IRC Bid #430 for fertilizer be awarded to <br />Wheeler Fertilizer. <br />Budgetary Funding has been confirmed for expenditure from <br />Sandridge Golf Course Accounts. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously awarded <br />Bid #430 for fertilizer to Wheeler Fertilizer <br />at $7272 for 16 tons of fertilizer in bulk and $948 for <br />two tons of fertilizer in bags, as recommended by staff. <br />SAY 6 <br />Roo 72 5 4 <br />
