Walker. Also <br />present were Miles warrens Clerk and Clark S►o nice, bheriff. <br />The Chairman announced the call of this special meeting was made for the purpose of <br />;designating a County Depository and to go into the question of turning over the 196 1 tax <br />roll to the Tax Collector when the same is completed. <br />Ralph Sedgwick, Cashier of the Faxmers Bank of Nero Beach appeared before the Board <br />regarding the designation of that Bank as County Depository. After considerable dis- <br />cussion, it was moved, seconded and carried that the Barnett National Bank of Cocoa,Flas <br />be designated County Depository, with the understanding that Federal bonds be deposited <br />with the state Comptroller in tjie sum of X10,000.00 as a qualification and that addition <br />security be deposited, as, if and when required. <br />The question of delivering the 1931 tax roll to the Tax Collector was discussed at <br />length, and after carefully considering .the same, on Motion of Commissioner LaBruce, whi <br />was duly seconded, it was ordered that the Clerk ,be instructed to write the Governor <br />requesting instructions as to turning over the 1931 tax roll to the rax Collector and to <br />call his attention to the State Auditorlls .report recently prepared and filed. <br />In . compliance with law, the Board proceeded ,to examine the public officials bonds <br />of the County as to their sufficiency, of sureties, .and all were found sufficient with <br />the exception of C.A.Vandiveer, mezribex of the School Board, and the Clerk was instructed <br />14 <br />to request him to file additional bond, The bond of Gordon R.
