ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The work is basically typical of the Road and Bridge Division <br />base repair. Staff estimates that a grader, endloader, and <br />roller would be required. All materials would be funded by the <br />City of Sebastian. <br />The alternatives are as follows: <br />Alternative # 1 <br />Approve the request and authorize the Road and Bridge Div. <br />to assist. <br />Alternative #2 <br />Deny the request. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends Alternative # 1. The work could be scheduled in <br />August, 1988. Funding to be indirect costs of approximately <br />$4,000/week including labor and equipment. This cost is based on <br />equipment rental charges and labor. The work could be accom- <br />plished in approximately one week. Funding to be Fund 111-214, <br />Road and Bridge Dept. account. <br />Public Works Director Jim Davis advised that no impact fees <br />can be used on this project. Basically, the County's <br />contribution will be some equipment and some labor with no direct <br />expense to the County. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (3-0) <br />approved Alternative #1, authorizing the Road S <br />Bridge Division to assist in the repair work on <br />Barber Avenue and Schumann Drive. <br />ST.
