Ieati g, P ANNUAL REPORT <br />Community Deve opm t Director <br />THROUGH: Gary Schindler Ad <br />Chief, Long Range Planning <br />FROM: Cheri Boudreaux REFERENCES: <br />Staff Planner, Long -Range Planning <br />It is requested that the information herein presented be <br />given formal consideration. by the Economic Development <br />Council (EDC) at its meeting to be held on July 26, 1988. <br />0 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Consistent with Economic Development Administration (EDA) <br />regulations, the staff has prepared the 1988 OEDP report. <br />This report is essentially a status and evaluation report of <br />the OEDP. A copy is attached to this agenda item. The <br />Annual OEDP Report is due to the Economic Development <br />Administration on July 29; 1988. <br />This Annual Report is required in order for Indian River <br />County to maintain its "redevelopment area" status and its <br />eligibility to apply for federal technical assistance funds. <br />The Annual OEDP Report includes the following. items: <br />'a�t1'Q�It .V 'i f•' Y'd.:: .•. ' .. <br />1) A'review of past year's accomplishments; <br />2) Report on any significant changes in the economy <br />and its development potentials; and <br />3) An update of the County's development strategies <br />and course of action planned for the coming two <br />years.
