Chairman Scurlock opened the Public Hearing, and asked if <br />anyone wished to be heard in this matter. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 88-30, rezoning 2± acres from RM -6 to CL, and <br />from CL to RM -6. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 88- 30 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING <br />ZONING <br />MAP <br />FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN,•AN <br />FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. 11 <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency" an such matters, has•held h public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />requests and ' <br />WHEREAS, The, Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter deacribed property; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has determined <br />that this rezoning is in conformance with the Land Use Element of <br />the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />Interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of <br />the following described parcels situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit; <br />Parcel 1 being described as; <br />Town of Wauregan, PPS 1-178, 179. The northwesterly 116.97 <br />feet of Lot 25 lying northeasterly of U.S. Highway 1 (O.R. <br />Bk. 457, P.P. 186) <br />Be changed from RM -6, Multiple -Family Residential District to CL, <br />Limited Commercial District; and <br />Parcel 2 being described as; <br />Town of Wauregan, PBS 1-178. The northwesterly 166.41 feet <br />of Lot 24, lying east of U.S. Highway No. 1 (O.R.
