DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />Bids were opened Wednesday, August 10, 1988 at 2:00 p.m. <br />for IRC Bid #89-18. <br />6 Invitations to Bid were mailed. 3 Bids were received <br />including 1 No Bid. <br />This bid was advertised in the newspaper. <br />2. ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The low bid meeting specifications was submitted by Russell <br />Concrete. They have bid $38.70 per yard for 2500 psi, <br />$40.15 per yard of 3000 psi and $43.25 for 4000 psi ready mix <br />contrete. They have taken no exceptions to our specifications. <br />yearly expenditures are expected to be $35,000.00 for this <br />bid. <br />3. FUNDING: <br />Purchasing is not holding a budget approved requisition. <br />Purchasing will not issue a purchase order until such is t� <br />received. <br />4. RECOMMMATION: <br />Staff recommends that we award this bid to Russell Concrete <br />at the prices listed.
