Wiecrers/L/ C J REFERENCES: garden grove <br />Staff Planner BWIEG _ <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular <br />meeting of August 23, 1988. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />Garden Grove PRD Phase I subdivision is a 91 lot phase of a total <br />240 lot subdivision located on the east side of U.S. #1, north of <br />Midway Estates Mobile Home Park and west of Vero Shores <br />subdivision. The zoning classification of the site is RS-6/RM-6 <br />(6 dwelling units/acre), and the land use designation is LD -2 (6 <br />dwelling units/acre). The proposed density for the overall Garden <br />Grove development is ±4 units/acre. <br />At its regular meeting of April 12, 1988, the Board of County <br />Commissioners granted final PRD plan approval for phase 1 of the <br />project. At the time this approval was given, the developers <br />contracted with the County with regards to the future construction <br />of required improvements (Attachment #3). <br />Subsequent to the expiration date of that contract, the developer <br />made a request to the County that this contract be extended to <br />allow an additional 60 days for completion of all remaining <br />required .improvements.
