decision of whether we accept the low bid or just renew. <br />Attorney Vitunac did not believe the Risk Manager is <br />expecting to bring back any bids. <br />Discussion continued at length as to exactly what was <br />intended, and Commissioner Eggert believed Ms. Tillman is saying <br />that we can't use the lower bids because she doesn't have time to <br />go over them properly; so, we have a choice of trying to rush <br />through this somehow or a choice of renewing what we currently <br />have and then coming forward with recommendations for the <br />following year. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Eggert, the Board unanimously(4-0) authorized <br />staff to negotiate renewal contracts with our present <br />insurance carriers and bring back the figures as to how <br />next year's coverage with them would compare with what <br />we are paying this year. <br />INTERIM POSITION - ACTING COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The Board reviewed the following memo:.. <br />TO: The Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM:,. -C1 William G.
