P.M.' <br />Purchasing Manager <br />1. DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />Bids were opened Wednesday, August 24, 1988 at 2:00 p.m. <br />for IRC Bid #89-17. <br />8 Invitations to Bid were mailed. 6 Bids were received, <br />including 2 No Bids. <br />This bid was advertised in the newspaper. <br />2. ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The low bid meeting specifications for Alkyd Thermoplastic <br />Material for Traffic Striping was submitted by Cataphote Inc. <br />They have taken no exceptions to our specifications. <br />3. FUNDING: <br />This Bid is to establish an annual contract. No Purchase Orders <br />will be issued before a requisition approved by the Budget Offic <br />is received. <br />4. RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that we award IRC Bid #89-17 for Alkyd Thermoplastic <br />Material to C4aphote, Inc. and authorize staff to proceed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously awarded <br />IRC Bid #89-17 to Cataphote, Inc., and authorized <br />staff to proceed. <br />17 <br />BOOK 7 F'' �E.150 <br />
