VERO LAKE ESTATES MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING UNIT <br />Chairman Scurlock announced that the rollback millage does <br />not apply for the Vero Lake Estates MSTU. The proposed per <br />parcel/acres charge is $15.00 for 1988-89. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing for the Vero Lake <br />Estates Municipal Service Taxing Unit. There being no one who <br />wished to be heard, the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />Attorney Vitunac asked if anyone in the audience wished to <br />have these proposed resolutions read aloud. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 88-63, providing for an assessment of $15.00 <br />per parcel/acre for the Vero Lake Estates Municipal <br />Service Taxing Unit for fiscal year 1988-89. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88- 63 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE <br />ASSESSMENT RATE TO BE LEVIED UPON ALL REAL AND . <br />PERSONAL TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE VERO LAKE ESTATES <br />MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING UNIT FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />1988-89 TO FUND THE VERO LAKE ESTATES MUNICIPAL <br />SERVICE -TAXING UNIT. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget Officer of Indian River County <br />prepared and presented to the County Commission a tentative <br />budget for the Vero Lake Estates Municipal Service Taxing <br />Unit of Indian River County, Florida, for the fiscal year <br />commencing on the first day of October, 1988, and ending on <br />the 30th day of September, 1989, addressing each of the <br />funds therein as provided by law, including all estimated <br />receipts, taxes to be levied, and balances expected to be <br />brought forward, and all estimated expenditures, reserves, <br />and balances to be carried over at the end of the year; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County held numerous public workshops to consider and <br />amend the tentative budget as presented; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board did prepare a statement summarizing <br />all of the tentative budgets showing for each budget and <br />for the total of all budgets, proposed tax miIIages, the <br />balances, and _reserves, and the total of each major <br />20 <br />SEP 141988 BOOK 74 F�1E 20 <br />
