Tuesday, October 11, 1988 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />October 11, 1988, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Gary C. Wheeler, Vice Chairman; Richard <br />N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and Carolyn K. Eggert. Also present <br />were William G. Collins, 11, Acting County Administrator; Charles <br />P. Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph <br />Baird, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Scurlock called the meeting to order, and <br />Administrator Collins led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Attorney Vitunac requested the addition to today's Agenda of <br />a release of easement to Alan & Nancy Emerick, Bent Pines <br />Subdivision. <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the postponement for another <br />week or two of Item 8-A-2 - Proposed Annexation by the Town of <br />Orchid - because she has not completed her discussions with the <br />legislators; however, Chairman Scurlock wished to have it left on <br />the Agenda for the purpose of giving an update on the situation. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously added and <br />postponed the above items to today's Agenda. <br />BOOK r''IsE 445 <br />OCT 111988 <br />
