PROJECT—ET onM 'EO) DESTCRATED-As-PROJECT-05=t7=bg-CCS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has determined that the improvements herein described and, to defray the cost thereof and in connection therewith, the special assessments against the properties hereinafter described, all of which relate to Project No. US87-08-CCS, are necessary to promote the public welfare of the county, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: 1. The . County does hereby determine that line extensions shall be installed to approximately 422 properties designated on the assessment plat with respect to the special assessments, and the cost thereof and in connection therewith specially assessed in accordance with the provisions of §11-42 through §11-47, of the Code of Laws and Ordinances of Indian River County. Provisions of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Grant, Project No. C120502060 shall also apply. 2. The total estimated cost of the above-described improvements is shown to be $1,621,107, but the total cost has been reduced by state and federal grants in the amount of $1,093,607, resui,;ing in an assessed cost of $527,500 ($1,250 per unit) to be paid by the property specially benefited. 3. A special assessment in the amount of $1,250 shall be assessed for each of the 422 properties designated on the assessment plat. 4. The special assessments shall be due and payable and may be paid in full within 90 days after the date of the resolution of the Board with respect to credits against the special assessments after completion of the improvements (the "Credit Date") without interest.
