DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />Bids were received Wednesday, Sept. 14, 1988, at 2p.m. for <br />Sulfuric Acid for the Reverse Osmosis Plant. <br />22 Invitations to bid were mailed. 3 bids were received including <br />1 No. Bid. <br />This bid was advertised in the newspaper. <br />2. AIMERNATMES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The low bid meeting specifications was submitted by Apperson <br />Chemicals of Pompano Beach, F1., at the Unit Price of $72.18 <br />per ton. The County expects to spend $15,000.00 on this commodity <br />during the year. <br />3. FUNDING: <br />The bid was solicited to establish a Tema Contract for Future <br />Purchases. No Purchase Order will be issued until an approved <br />requisition is received. <br />4. ON: <br />Staff recommends that we award this bid to Apperson Chemical and <br />authorizes staff to proceed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously awarded <br />IRC Bid #89-22 to Apperson Chemical and authorized <br />staff to proceed. <br />7 <br />OCT 11 1988 <br />NOV 74 Du. 451 <br />
