ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved the <br />Professional Civil Engineering Master Agreement with <br />Lloyd and Associates, Inc., for water, wastewater, and <br />other related utility applications services: <br />Classification #1 - Surveying other than directly <br />related to design project <br />Classification #8 - Project Management & Inspection <br />not related to the firm's own design project <br />Classification #9 - Effluent Line Extensions, related <br />Pumping Stations <br />Classification #10 - Wastewater Gravity & Force Main <br />& Related Pumping Stations <br />Classification #11 - Water Line Extensions and <br />related Pumping Stations <br />Classification #12 - Water Storage Tanks - Developers <br />to IRC Utilities <br />Classification #21 - Formulation of Assessments; <br />with the modification to the safety language stating <br />that the Contractor is solely responsible for job site <br />safety. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />SOUTH COUNTY LIBRARY SITE AND OFFER TO PURCHASE LEASEHOLD <br />INTEREST OF ROSS LAUNDRY <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 10/5/88: <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />DATE: October 5, 1988 <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />Charles P. <br />7 <br />Vitunac, County Attorney <br />RE: SOUTH COUNTY LIBARY SITE AND OFFER TO PURCHASE <br />LEASEHOLD INTEREST OF ROSS LAUNDRY <br />On Monday, October 3, 1988, Indian River County closed on <br />'the South County library site, thus becoming the landlord <br />for both the Downtown Supermarket and Ross Laundry. The <br />supermarket lease will expire in December of 1991. The <br />laundry has options which would allow it to continue its <br />business until March of 1997. <br />Attached is an offer by the Ross Laundry to relinquish its <br />leasehold interest to the County effective at the time of <br />expiration of the supermarket lease, i.e., December of 1991, <br />in return for $50,000 plus attorney's fees of $5,000 payable <br />immediately.
