Box 1960 <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32961-1960 <br />Phone (407) 567-8900 <br />The United Way of Indian River County has recently been <br />informed that $51,153 has been awarded to our county <br />through Phase VII of the Emergency Food and Shelter <br />National Board Program. <br />Commissioner Maggie Bowman has served on the Emergency <br />Outreach Board, representing county government, since the <br />inception in 1984. This Board is responsible for <br />overseeing the expenditures of funds, and is mandated to <br />reconvene during Phase VII.
