She did <br />not want to spend that amount of money, because she did not feel <br />we need that amount of space at the present time. She asked if we <br />had gone back to Mr. Fisher and negotiated at a lower Level. <br />Commissioner Wheeler pointed out that many buildings in that <br />area were not built with allowances for parking, etc., which will <br />be necessary for County offices. Tax Collector Gene Morris is <br />renting at $9.00 a square foot. <br />Commissioner Bird did not feel the County could afford to <br />duplicate each and every county office or service at this point in <br />time.
