C. Budget Amendment 006, North County Recreation <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 10/31/88: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: October 31, 1988 <br />SUBJECT: BUDGET AMENDMENT 006 - <br />NORTH COUNTY RECREATION <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Bai <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />During the 1987/88 fiscal year, .the .North .County Recreation <br />Department initiatedthe design and permitting of the following <br />projects but were unable to complete them: <br />Fellsmere Tennis Court $25,600 <br />Lighting Fellsmere Design Court 2,000 <br />Washington Park Fencing 4,000 <br />Fellsmere Basketball Court 2.500 <br />TOTAL $34,100 <br />The Cash Forward balance in the M.S.T.U. should be larger than. <br />anticipated due to the fact that these projects were not <br />completed. Since these projects are in process, staff would like <br />to increase the 1988/89 Recreation budget utilizing the larger <br />than anticipated Cash Forward balance to complete the projects. <br />-RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners authorize <br />Budget Amendment 006 for the above mentioned projects and award <br />pending Bid # 459 for Fellsmere Tennis Court. <br />NOV 8 1988 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />Budget Amendment 006 and awarded pending Bid #459 for <br />Fellsmere tennis court, as recommended by OMB Director <br />Baird. <br />3 <br />BOOK 75 FACL ItJ1 <br />
