Armfield to Jim Davis dated 10-26-88 <br />DATE: November 9, 1988 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />After commencing work on the appraisal for the Hoffman Property <br />along Indian River Boulevard North (Phase 3), the appraiser, <br />Peter Armfield, has discovered that additional work is needed <br />which would increase his fee by $2000 to a total of $5,500. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />After receiving notice of the fee increase, staff requested <br />proposals from other MAI Appraisers. Callaway and Price, Inc., <br />submitted a proposal to perform the work for $5,500 to $6,000, <br />plus direct expenses such as travel, etc. The result of this <br />effort is that with the. $2,000 increase, Armfield-Wagner <br />Appraisal and Research, Inc is still the low bidder for the work. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />It is recommended that Armfield and Wagner be authorized to <br />proceed with the appraisal at a cost of $5,500. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously authorized <br />Armfield and Wagner to proceed with the appraisal <br />as described above at a cost of $5,500 as recommended <br />by staff. <br />37 <br />11620V 1 5 1988 <br />BOOK P/ 5 F�.�E 181 <br />
