Although I can assure <br />you the allegation is unfounded, and an investigation will support this <br />contention, it is of paramount importance that the trust and faith of the <br />public be maintained in governmental agencies. Therefore, in order to preclude <br />any doubt, and further inference of collusion on voting and policy matters <br />which might result in mistrust of the actions of the committee, I hereby tender <br />my resignation from your committee. <br />4 <br />
