My reasons for the above resignation are personal and have nothing to do with the subject matter of the committee or thther members. You, as a County Commissioner and Chairman of this committee, as well as the staffs of the city and county, have more important and productive uses of your time than being concerned with this allegation. Although I can assure you the allegation is unfounded, and an investigation will support this contention, it is of paramount importance that the trust and faith of the public be maintained in governmental agencies. Therefore, in order to preclude any doubt, and further inference of collusion on voting and policy matters which might result in mistrust of the actions of the committee, I hereby tender my resignation from your committee. 4
