NO. 111 <br />FOR CONSULTING SERVICES <br />PROJECT NO. US8810CCS COUNTY I.D. <br />CONSULTANT: MARSHALL, NcCULLY & ASSOCIATES <br />n/a <br />I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />Marshall, McCully & Associates shall perform consulting engineering <br />design services related to construction of a sanitary sewerage <br />system serving a portion of south U.S. No. 1 from 14th Street to <br />12th Street. The project will include the installation of <br />approximately 2,460 lineal feet of gravity sewer and force main, <br />2 manholes, 2 pump stations and associated hardware. The Project <br />will ultimately serve.9 commercial installations. Also included is <br />the modification of an existing pump station serving Southgate <br />Village Trailer Park. System modifications will direct the flow of <br />wastewater produced in this area into the County force main system. <br />The preliminary opinion of probable construction cost for the <br />Project, including .10 percent contingency, is $77,000.00. <br />II. SCOPE OF SERVICES AND LUMP SUM FEE FOR SERVICES <br />Reference is made to the. Master Agreement for Utilities Service, <br />titled PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEERING MASTER AGREEMENT, dated <br />November 1, 1988, specifically, Section I through Section XVIX, <br />inclusive. The specific Article numbers and paragraph numbers <br />listed hereunder describe the Scope of Services included.on this <br />Project. <br />A. Project Design Services per Master Agreement and as <br />specifically:described below: <br />1. Perform final design calculations for the Project based <br />on "Wastewater Collection and Transmission 'System <br />Alternate D", included as part of the "U.S. No. 1 South - <br />Pre -Design Water and Wastewater Feasibility Study" <br />prepared by Marshall, McCully •& Associates for the <br />Division of Utility Services in May, 1988; <br />2. Develope Construction Drawings! for the Project; <br />3. Prepare Technical Specifications; <br />4. Prepare Contract Documents for the Work; <br />5. Coordinate with. Indian •River County personnel as <br />necessary;, <br />6. Attend up to three meetings with Southgate Village <br />Trailer Park owners and/or representatives; and <br />7. Obtain Department of Environmental Regulation permits for <br />the Project. <br />B. General Services During Construction per Master Agreement: In <br />addition, services shall include field surveys necessary for <br />design and preparation of construction plans and, with <br />assistance from the County, obtaining the various permits and <br />approvals for construction (all permit fees to be paid by the <br />County). <br />Also, in addition, the Consultant shall, with the rendering <br />of this authorization, submit a time phased job completion <br />schedule.
