,JAI <br />BOOK 15 fI:E 492 <br />Congress, is hereby adopted by reference as the plumbing <br />code of Indian River County, Florida, with such <br />modifications as herein set forth. <br />SECTION 4. <br />Section 4-101, Code of Laws and Ordinances is amended <br />to read: <br />Section 4-101. Standard Mechanical Code adopted. <br />The Standard Mechanical Code, 198$ 1988 edition, <br />1988/87/VtkliAAohbt as printed by the Southern Building Code <br />Congress, is hereby adopted by reference as the mechanical <br />code of Indian River County, Florida, with such <br />modifications as herein set forth. <br />SECTION 5 . <br />Section 4-106, Code of Laws and Ordinances is amended <br />to read: <br />Section 4-106. Standard Housing Code adopted. <br />The Standard Housing Code, 198$ 1988 edition, 1988/87 <br />ReiltWt is hereby adopted by reference as the housing <br />code for Indian River County, Florida, with such <br />modifications as may be set forth by the Board of County <br />Commissioners by ordinance. <br />SECTION 6. <br />Conflicting Provisions. <br />Special acts of the Florida legislature applicable only <br />to unincorporated areas of Indian River County, County <br />ordinances and County resolutions, or parts thereof, in <br />conflict with this ordinance are hereby superseded by this <br />ordinance to the extent of such conflict. <br />SECTION 7. <br />Severability. <br />If any section, or if any sentence, paragraph, phrase, <br />or word of this ordinance is for any reason held to be <br />unconstitutional, inoperative, or void, such holding shall <br />not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance, and it <br />shall be construed to have been the legislative intent to <br />pass the ordinance without such unconstitutional, invalid or <br />inoperative part. <br />48 <br />
