Budget Amendment #035 - Salary Increases <br />BOOK 75 r'a.671 <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 1/18/89: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: January 18, 1989 <br />SUBJECT: BUDGET AMENDMENT - 035 <br />SALARY INCREASE <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />In September of 1988 the Board of County Commissioners authorized <br />William G. Collins, Acting County Administrator, to implement the <br />revised salary study. This included the increase in health insurance <br />premiums being absorbed by the Board of County Commissioners. <br />Attached is a budget amendment that appropriates funding for the <br />implementation of the revised salary study and merit raises for the <br />constitutional officers. Fleet Management, Housing Authority and <br />Golf Course have been left out of the entry pending further review. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve budget <br />amendment 035. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />Budget Amendment #035 appropriating funding for the <br />implementation of the revised salary study and merit <br />raises for the constitutional officers. <br />23 <br />
