Tuesday, February 14, 1989 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />February 14, 1989, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Gary C. <br />Wheeler, Chairman; Carolyn K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present <br />were James T. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB <br />Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Wheeler requested the following additions to <br />today's Agenda: <br />1) As Item G on the Consent Agenda Proclamation - <br />Mentally Handicapped Week. <br />2) As Item H on the Consent Agenda Proclamation - Dodger <br />Day. <br />3) Proposed advertisement on 1 -cent sales tax referendum. <br />Commissioner Bowman requested the addition of a <br />Transportation Planning Committee report. <br />FEB 141999 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to today's Agenda. <br />Baer 76 4, <br />
