with "No Bid". Eighteen (18) vehicles were originally bid <br />with two (2) for trade-in. Two (2) of these vehicles were <br />for Mr. David Nolte, Property Appraiser's Office. He has <br />since withdrawn his request leaving a total of sixteen (16). <br />ANALYSIS <br />Staff has reviewed the bid submitted by Barrie Reed Buick out <br />of Ft. Pierce for adherence to specifications. The Florida <br />State Contract price was compared to the lone bidder's <br />submittal to ascertain best interest for the county. <br />FUNDING <br />Funds to purchase this equipment will come from the <br />applicable department's capital budget. Total monies <br />available to purchase vehicles is $201,500 not including the. <br />Property Appraiser's funds. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends Board approval to purchase all the vehicles <br />on the bid list from the State Contract except for two (2) <br />Economy Cargo Vans and one Suburban 4x4 vehicle. These three <br />(3) vehicles to be purchased from Barrie Reed, the low , <br />bidder.
