Total $ 197.03 <br />Grand Total $21,334.28 <br />Commissioner Scurlock complimented Administrator Chandler on <br />having prepared such an outstanding memo for the Board's review, <br />in terms of its structure and clarity. <br />Administrator Chandler felt the most equitable solution, on <br />a one-time basis, would be to give those individuals listed an <br />opportunity to take their unused vacation time by the end of this <br />calendar year using the formula as set out above. He did not <br />believe they should be paid for the lost time. Irrespective of <br />what is done today, he did not intend for there to be any <br />question about our policy in the future. The policy will be <br />applied consistently and equally to all individuals involved. <br />Employees will have the opportunity to take the time off, and if <br />they don't, they will lose their time. <br />Commissioner Bird hoped this could be done without <br />triggering a lot of overtime pay or getting in additional <br />employees to cover for these employees, and Administrator <br />Chandler assured him that was his intent. <br />Commissioner Scurlock felt that in some of these cases where <br />additional areas of responsibility were assigned, the <br />31 <br />FEB 14 1989 <br />lb L102 <br />
