These teenagers hang around at all <br />hours of the day and night, and Mr. Richardson felt something <br />must be done to put pressure on the parents by holding them <br />responsible for what their children do. <br />Some discussion ensued as to whether there could be a curfew <br />for minors and also as to the fact that it is illegal for the <br />3 -wheelers to be on public roads. <br />Commissioner Bird noted the Motion on the floor is to ask <br />the Sheriff to give increased attention to this area, and that <br />should help. <br />County Attorney Vitunac advised that state law allows a <br />curfew only in an emergency situation and then only for 72 hours. <br />Chairman Wheeler believed we used to be able to have a <br />curfew for minors, but now everyone is afraid of violating <br />someone's rights.
