addition, because of the parking requirements for the existing <br />laundry, there is an internal circulation situation, the City <br />wants to hold harmless and say we would be vacating that area. <br />Since that circulation situation can and will be accommodated, <br />Administrator Chandler did not see any problem with that. <br />Administrator Chandler advised that those are the basic <br />provisions they are proceeding with, and he pointed out how <br />critical this is to our overall plan. Sunday the church will be <br />considering the lease agreement for the parking and the joint <br />application for the vacation of 22nd. In the meetings with the <br />City, Mr. Little indicated that we will be all right in <br />proceeding in this direction, so if the church approves it, we <br />will put together the application for submission to the City. <br />LEASED SPACE - CAPPELEN BUILDING <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 2/21/89: <br />DATE: FEBRUARY 21, 1989 <br />TO: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU: JAMES E. "SONNY" DEAN, DIRECTOR <br />DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES <br />- <br />SUBJECT: LEASED SPACE CAPPELEN BUILDING <br />,E-5,,AP I <br />a4152/fq <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On January 31, 1989 the Board instructed staff to proceed with <br />negotiating for additional space to be used by the Health Department. <br />,ANALYSIS: <br />The County is presently, leasing one compartment (1472 square feet) of <br />the subject three (3) compartment building. Mr. Cappelen has offered a <br />second area in this building which is the same size of what is now under <br />lease. At present we are paying $750.00 per month for the one <br />compartment.
