RESOLUTION NO. 89- 33 <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County is applying for a <br />grant from the Florida Boating Improvement Program; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County must formally adopt a <br />resolution designating each project: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County that the <br />MacWilliams Park Paving and Lighting construction project is <br />established so as to be eligible for funding by the Florida <br />Boating Improvement Program. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by <br />Commissioner Scurlock and seconded by Commissioner <br />Bowman , and, being put to a vote, the vote was as <br />follows: <br />Chairman Gary C. Wheeler <br />Aye <br />Vice Chairman Carolyn R. Eggert Aye <br />Commissioner Richard N. Bird Aye <br />Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman Aye <br />Commissioner Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Aye <br />The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution <br />duly passed and adopted this 4th day of April , 1989. <br />ATTEST: <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA BY ITS <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />Q <br />ee <br />Gary C/Wheeler, Chairman <br />Commissioner Bird reported that we are still running <br />in excess of $100,000 in the Boating Improvements Trust Fund. <br />Commissioner Eggert wondered just what kind of project that <br />fund covers, and Director Davis advised that it covers just about <br />anything that is boating related. <br />Commissioner Scurlock felt we must Zook very seriously at <br />this in relation to the program we eventually are going to <br />propose for Blue Cypress Lake for bathrooms, etc., because it <br />will be a very expensive project, and Commissioner Bird agreed <br />that was a good idea to keep in mind. <br />13 <br />APR 4 1989 <br />B001( 76 FAGL 497 <br />
