ROOK 76 810 <br />All with the meaning and intent and as set forth and <br />described in said Zoning Regulations. <br />Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, on this 9th day of May , <br />1989. <br />This ordinance 19th advertised in the Vero Beach <br />Press -Journal on the day of April , 1989, for a public <br />hearing to be held on the 9th day of May , 1989, at which <br />time it was moved for adoption by Commissioner Bird , <br />seconded by Commissioner Scurlock , and adopted by the following <br />vote: <br />Chairman Gary C. Scurlock Aye <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />By <br />Gary Wheeler, Chairman <br />DISCUSS AGENDA FOR PROPOSED JOINT CITY/COUNTY MEETING <br />Administrator Chandler advised that the County staff does <br />not have any specific items for the agenda for a joint meeting, <br />nor does City Manager Little have any from the staff's stand- <br />point. He understood, however, that the City Council members may <br />have some items, and believed they would be in regard to such <br />things as recycling, the Indian River Boulevard status, a <br />City/County recommendation on a 'turtle nesting Resolution, and <br />communication between the City and the County. Mr. Chandler <br />felt staff can give a general update on most of these items. <br />Commissioner Scurlock asked the Chairman if he had presented <br />the City with the Board's Resolution opposing any increased <br />building heights, and Chairman Wheeler advised that when he got <br />to the meeting, the Motion had been changed, the Council had <br />copies of the Resolution, and he did not feel it was necessary to <br />read it to them. <br />Commissioner Scurlock was concerned about this because <br />apparently Mr. Krause and Mr. Macht have attributed the proposed <br />height and density increase to him.
