WASHINGTON ADDITION SUBDIVISION TO <br />FACILITATE THE DEVELOPMENT OF A HEALTH DEPARTMENT FACILITY <br />Administrator Chandler explained that this is a Resolution <br />to authorize application to the City of Vero Beach for rezoning <br />and a land use change for our Health Department site and some <br />other properties that the County owns in that same area. At <br />present there are a number of different zoning applications on <br />that property, and we hope to bring it into conformity. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Scurlock being absent), adopted <br />Resolution 89-61, authorizing application for <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment and rezoning. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89- 61 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT AND <br />REZONING. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida owns certain lands in the <br />Booker T. Washington Addition Subdivision; and <br />WHEREAS, portions of those lands are zoned H <br />(hospital and institutional), and portions of those lands <br />are zoned 1171 (single family); and <br />WHEREAS, portions of those lands are designated P <br />(institutional), and portions are designated L (low density) <br />on the Vero Beach Comprehensive Plan; and ' <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida wishes to have a consistent <br />zoning and comprehensive plan designation on all the <br />1'6 <br />
