BACKGROUND: <br />The Subject Bid for Road & Bridge was properly <br />advertised and Twelve (12) Invitations to bid were <br />sent out. On June 28, 1989, Twelve (12) bids were <br />received. Two (2) vendors submitted proposals for the <br />ccamodity. <br />2. ANALYSIS: <br />Staff has reviewed the submittal to ascertain adherence to <br />specifications. P.A.V.C.O. Construction was the lowest <br />bidder that met all requirements. <br />F[li IMG: <br />Requisitions will be done on. as needed basis and funding will <br />be verified by the Budget Office. <br />Staff rids the Award of a Open End Contract. The initial <br />Contract period shall start with the date of the Award and shall <br />tenninate one (1) year frau that date and to authorize the Purchasing <br />Manager to renew the contract for an additional one year subject <br />to satisfactory performance, vendor acceptance and detendmation <br />the renewal is in the best interest of the County. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Scurlock, Commissioner Bowman being absent, <br />the Board unanimously (4-0) awarded under Bid #89-70 <br />an Open End Contract for Curb & Gutter to P.A N.C.O., <br />the lowest bidder meeting specifications, as recom- <br />mended by staff and per the following Bid Tabulation: <br />10 <br />
