AUG 1989 <br />F',1�t 5 0C:.3 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Eggert, the Board unanimously (4-0) approved <br />Amendment No. 4 to the Professional Engineering Serv- <br />ices Agreement with Boyle Engineering Corporation <br />increasing the contract amount by $673.05 and approved <br />release of 1/2 of the retainage ($2,580.85). <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />INDIAN RIVER BOULEVARD NORTH EXTENSION <br />AMENDMENT NO.4 <br />PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />Dated September 23,1986 <br />SECTION 1- GENERAL <br />This Is an amendment to the existing PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />(AGREEMENT) dated September 23, 1986 between Boyle Engineering Corporation <br />(ENGINEER) and Indian River County (COUNTY) (Amendment). The Amendment is for <br />services to be performed by ENGINEER pursuant to the terms and conditions of the <br />AGREEMENT related to Wetlands Mapping - Indian River Boulevard Property Appraisal beyond <br />the scope of the existing AGREEMENT. <br />The ENGINEER agrees to perform the additional professional services as described in the <br />following text and the. specific tasks as defined in Exhibit Al attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein. A Summary of Total Cost is presented in Exhibit A2 attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein. Certain assumptions have been made in preparing this Amendment. To the extent <br />possible they are stated herein, and are reflected in Exhibit Al. However, if the actual scope or <br />assumptions are not as stated herein, the COUNTY agrees to negotiate a mutually acceptable <br />revised scope and budget. <br />0 <br />SECTION II - SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Pursuant to request by the COUNTY, the ENGINEER shall assist the COUNTY In identifying <br />wetland/upland areas within the parcels under consideration for purchase as part of the Indian <br />River Boulevard Project right-of-way and mitigation site. The work will consist of identifying <br />wetland/upland areas on aerial photographs utilizing both resource materials provided by <br />COUNTY and in -field observation. ENGINEER will be assisting Mr. Roland DeBlois of the Indian <br />River County Planning Department during the in -field observation. COUNTY is responsible for <br />providing access to the site(s). <br />SECTION IV - TIME OF COMPLETION, AND DURATION OF AGREEMENT <br />The services of this Amendment will be provided on July 19, 1989 and it Is agreed that the <br />duration of the AGREEMENT is extended to September 30, 1989. <br />SECTION V - COMPENSATION <br />A. General <br />Compensation of ENGINEER shall be on the basis of a "Cost Plus a Fixed Fee" as set <br />forth in the AGREEMENT. <br />66 <br />
