August 8, 1989 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, August 8, 1989, <br />at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Gary C. Wheeler, Chairman; <br />Carolyn K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Margaret C. <br />Bowman; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present were James E. <br />Chandler, County Administrator; William G. Collins, ll, Assistant <br />County Attorney; Joseph Baird, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, <br />Deputy Clerk. " <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Attorney <br />Collins led the Pledge of Allegiance to -the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Wheeler announced that Item 713-2, listed on today's <br />Agenda as a Public Discussion Item, was advertised as a Public <br />Hearing and would be moved up on the Agenda to 7A-3. This item is <br />the reconsideration of request for Development Order Amendment and <br />PRD Special Exception Conceptual Plan Approval for a Golf <br />Maintenance Site and Facility Addition to the Grand Harbor <br />Project. <br />Chairman Wheeler requested that Item 5-F - History Building <br />Survey for Incorporated Indian River County -- be tabled for two <br />weeks. <br />Chairman Wheeler requested the addition of a recommendation <br />by the Jungle Trail Committee to hire a consultant for the native <br />plant landscaping. <br />AUG 8 1989 !"'A <br />L_ - <br />
