SPECIAL MEETING <br />Tuesday, August 8, 1989 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of -Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Special Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />August 8, 1989, at 10:50 o'clock A.M. Present were Gary C. <br />Wheeler, Chairman; Carolyn K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present <br />were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; William C. Collins, <br />Assistant County Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; <br />Joseph Baird, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />WORKSHOP MEETING TO REVIEW THE PROPOSED IRC COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />Attorney Collins advised that today's workshop meeting was <br />advertised as a Public'Hearing and that the Chairman would open <br />it up to public discussion after staff has completed their review <br />of the proposed Comp Plan. <br />f <br />,AUG � ��a._,� <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County will hold a public meeting on August 8, <br />1989 to review the proposed Indian River County <br />Comprehensive Plan. This will be a workshop <br />meeting where public input is encouraged. <br />The regular meeting of the Board of County <br />Commissioners will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the <br />workshop meeting will begin immediately following <br />and will be held in the County Commission <br />Chambers in the County Administration Building <br />located at 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida. <br />
