Tuesday, August 15, 1989 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />August 15, 1989, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Gary C. <br />Wheeler, Chairman; Carolyn K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present <br />were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Pastor Jack Diehl, Our Savior Lutheran Church, gave the <br />invocation, and Administrator Chandler led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Administrator Chandler asked that an item be added regarding <br />the designation of one Commission member to serve on the School <br />Site Committee. <br />Commissioner Bowman requested that discussion of the report <br />on the entrance fees at'Sebastian Inlet be added under her <br />matters. <br />Administrator Chandler advised that he had an emergency <br />matter regarding a dewatering pump for the Landfill to be added <br />on the Solid Waste Disposal District agenda when that meeting <br />convenes. <br />AUG 15- 1.69 BOOK, AGE.
