MaCPO Manager <br />Division of Purchasing <br />SUBJ: IRC PROPOSAL 89-P8 HAND HELD METER READING SYS! <br />1. BACKGROUND: <br />The Subject Bid for Hand Held Meter Reading System was properly <br />advertised and Four (4) Invitations to bid were sent out. <br />On Aug. 16, 1989, bids were received. Two (2) vendors submitted <br />proposals for the cram odity. <br />2. ANALYSIS: <br />Staff has reviewed the submittal to ascertain adherence to <br />specifications. Syscon Corporation was the low bidder that <br />net all requirements. <br />3. FUNDING: <br />Monies for this project will came from Utilities Budget Account. <br />Staff recommends the Award of a Fixed Contract for $21,500.00 <br />to the low bidder, Syscon Corp, for the subject ccamndity. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />award of Fixed Contract for a Hand Held Meter <br />Reading System to the low bidder, Syscon Corpora- <br />tion, in the amount of $21,500, as recommended by <br />staff and per the following Bid Tabulation: <br />6 <br />
