S•.T.0 <br />Boor. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />a tentative budget of $7,376,730 for the <br />Transportation Fund for fiscal year 1989-90. <br />Administrator Chandler stated that the General Purpose <br />Municipal Service Taxing Unit (MSTU) had a proposed millage of <br />1.9660 coming into this meeting, but with the reduction of $3,939 <br />in insurance costs, the millage rate would be 1.9642, which is <br />less than the rolled back millage. The proposed M.S.T.U. budget <br />is $11,177,434. The changes are the additional expenses and our <br />agreement with the City of Vero Beach on the Parks & Recreation <br />Dept. and the Jungle Trail Maintenance Plan. <br />Chairman Wheeler opened the Public Hearing on the M.S.T.U. <br />budget, and asked if anyone wished to be heard. There being <br />none, the Chairman closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />a tentative millage rate of 1.9642 (less than the <br />rollback millage) for the General Purpose Municipal <br />Service Taxing Unit for fiscal year 1989-90.
