r � � <br />Tuesday, September 12, 1989 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, September 12, <br />1989, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Gary C. Wheeler, <br />Chairman; Carolyn K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; <br />Margaret C. Bowman; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present were <br />James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; OMB Director Joseph <br />Baird; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Chaplain Russell Burns of Cox -Gifford Funeral Home gave the <br />invocation, and Commissioner Scurlock led the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Wheeler requested three additions to today's Agenda: <br />1. IRC Bid 89-60 - Golden Sands Dune Walkover. <br />2., Addition to Courthouse Master Plan Consultant Contract. <br />3. Drilling of a 5" artesian well at Sandridge Golf <br />Club. <br />Attorney Vitunac requested the addition of an amendment to <br />the McKee Jungle Gardens purchase contract. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously added <br />the above items to today's Agenda. <br />SEP 12 1989 mor 77 <br />
