The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Bird who moved Its adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Scurlock and, upon being put to a vote, the <br />vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Gary C. Wheeler Aye <br />Vice Chairman Carolyn K. Wheeler <br />Chairman <br />(SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED TO RESOLUTION 89-101) <br />Chairman Wheeler opened the public hearing on the South <br />Indian River County Fire Protection District. <br />Administrator Chandler announced that the proposed millage <br />is 1.5803 which is a reduction from the rolled back millage. The <br />proposed budget is $5,925,593, a $778,645 increase. The increase <br />on the expense side was related to the 6 additional full time <br />personnel. <br />The Chairman asked i_f=anyone wished to be heard. There were <br />none, and he ther.eupon closed the public hearing. <br />Attorney Vitunac advised that proposed Resolution 89-104 <br />establishes a millage rate of 1.5803 for the South Indian River <br />County Fire Protection District. <br />p <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously adopted Resolu- <br />tion 89-104 establishing a millage rate of 1.5803 for <br />the South Indian River County Fire Protection Municipal <br />Service Taxing Unit for fiscal year 1989/90. <br />
