SEP 1 <br />POOK I F IA.�0 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. FLORIDA, SITTING AS <br />THE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS OF THE SOUTH INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT that: <br />1. The County Budget Officer's estimates of receipts <br />other than taxes, and of balances to be brought forward, for <br />the South Indian River County Fire Protection Municipal <br />Service Taxing Unit are hereby revised as set forth in <br />Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br />2. The Board of County Commissioners hereby adopts the <br />attached budget as the final budget for fiscal year 1989-90 <br />for the South ,Indian River County Fire Protection Municipal <br />Service Taxing Unit. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Bird who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Scurlock and, upon being put to a vote, the <br />vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Gary C. Wheeler Aye <br />Vice Chairman Carolyn K. Eggert Aye <br />Commissioner Don C. Scurlock, Jr.. Aye <br />Commissioner Richard N. Bird Aye <br />Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman Aye <br />The Chairman thereupon declared Resolution No. 89-105 <br />duly passed and adopted this 13th day of September, 1989. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />By C- <br />a ry. Whee l e — <br />airman <br />(SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED TO RESOLUTION 89-101) <br />Chairman Wheeler informed those present that he would next <br />open the public hearing on the Street Lighting Districts for the <br />following: Gifford, Laurelwood, Rockridge, Vero Highlands, <br />Porpoise Point, Single Light District, Terra Linda, Laurel Court, <br />Vero Shores, Ixora, and Royal Poinciana® <br />Attorney Vitunac advised that the millage and budget for <br />each Street Lighting District will be announced, and anyone who <br />wishes to speak regarding a particular District will be heard at <br />that time. He further explained that each of these Districts is <br />assessed on a per parcel/acre basis and rollback does not apply. <br />44 <br />
