McCAIN <br />CAPITAL PROJECTS ENGIN <br />DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION JOINT PROJECT BANKING <br />AGREEMENT <br />IRC PROJECT NO. UW87--05-DS <br />BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS: <br />A joint construction project on U.S. Highway 1, between the Florida <br />Department of Transportation and the Indian River County Department <br />of Utility Services, was approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners on December 6, 1988.. Subsequently, it was necessary <br />to set up a joint banking account to pay for the project.. The Joint <br />Banking Agreement -has been established and approved by all necessary <br />County personnel: (Thi& is an after -the -fact approval of the <br />transaction.) <br />RECOMMENDATION• <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of <br />County Commissiones approve the above outlined action on the Consent <br />Agenda. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />o,missioner Eggert, the Board unanimously gave retro- <br />active approval of staff action outlined above. <br />11 BOOK 77 PA;F1M <br />
