Tuesday, September 19, 1989 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />September 19, 1989, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Gary C. <br />Wheeler, Chairman; Carolyn K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present <br />were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Vice Chairman <br />Eggert led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Administrator Chandler had several changes. He advised that <br />under Community Development Item 9A requesting Plat Vacation for <br />a portion of an easement in Timber Ridge Village II should be <br />changed to 7B as it has been advertised as a Public Hearing. <br />He requested that -Item 5.1. under the Consent Agenda be deferred <br />for one week, and asked that an Item regarding Professional <br />Services for Treasure Shores Park be added as an emergency item <br />under Public Works Item 9.G.2. <br />,..-ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously added, moved <br />and deferred items on the Agenda as described above. <br />Administrator Chandler informed the Board that an appeals <br />hearing of the Solid Waste Disposal District Board has been <br />scheduled and advertised for 11:00 o'clock A.M. today. <br />SEP 2 <br />1989 BOOK l7 ml,1620: <br />
