On September 19, 1989, bids were <br />;received. Five (5) vendors submitted proposals for the commodity. <br />' ANALYSIS : <br />.Staff has reviewed the submittal to ascertain adherence to <br />specifications...;Elkins Constructors was the low bidder that met all <br />'requirements. <br />'Sample Contracts are attached for information purposes. Original <br />'contract will be sent to Chairman upon receipt of executed copies <br />from contractor. <br />FUNDING: <br />Monies for this project will come from Utilities Budget Accounts. <br />13)2A/M05154;0331) <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Yy• <br />;Staff recommends the Award of a fixed, contract for S2.195.000.00 to <br />'the low bidder Elkins Constructors, for the subject commodity. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0), <br />Commissioner Eggert being absent, approved the award <br />of a fixed contract for $2,195,000 to'the low bidder, <br />Elkins Constructors, for construction of the North <br />County Subregional Sewer System 1.0 MGD Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant, as recommended by staff per the <br />following Bid Tabulation: <br />• 14 <br />
